Pearland Classic - April 24-26, 2009
In their 3rd tournament the Rookies competed in the Pearland Classic. Once again their 1st opponent was Rytes Silver. Silver edged out the Rookies 52-49. Next up, were the TX Suns Select (Dallas), the Rookies played extremely well and fell short 57-56. The Rookies then faced Austin’s CCYA. They topped CCYA 49– 34. The Rookes were matched with the Metro Mustangs (Dallas) in the Bronze Championship. They were outscored by the Mustang team, 42-19. The Rookies are now 6-6 on the season and continuing to grow as a team.
